Ten years ago we brought home our first Newfoundland, Gus, and a year and a half later we brought home our Newfoundland girl, Bella.

We have been working with these great dogs for the last tenyears in and out of the ring. They are not only great working dogs but wonderful and loved members of our family.

I have worked in obedience and conformation. Gus was ranked
second in the nation for Newfoundland's for his CD when he was six years ago and I finished Bella in the conformation ring as an amateur handler. Gus and Bella have their RN RA RE titles.

We started working with Gus and Bella in Rally before it became a sanctioned obedience sport. Even though I had quite a few years of working with dogs under my belt, I found that learning the Rally exercises wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I learned from friends and by attending Rally classes and matches. As time went on it became apparent that some kind of visual instructional information was needed so people could see the exercises being performed.

We started this project in February 2004 and two had a half years later we had a finished our first training DVD ready to assist people in understanding the fundamentals of Rally Obedience. I had my worked checked every step of the way by a Rally instructor to insure that I was doing the exercises correctly and that the Rally information was accurate.

We are now in our second version of the DVD. The AKC made some changes that went into effect on January 1, 2008. We wanted to make sure that we have the most current information in our DVD.

We are not only selling the DVD in the United States but to folks doing Rally in Canada, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, New Zealand, Slovenia, Australia and even one in South Korea.

Our goal is to help people learn the fundamentals of Rally Obedience and give them a foundation on which to develop their skills in the Rally ring.
